Mythology on the Rocks

An illustrated label for a limited-run whiskey, made for blockchain company zkLend as a gift for their users.

The brand had built Greek mythology into its story, so the label needed to carry that while speaking the language of crypto culture. I made Zeus the centrepiece, then let the two worlds crash together: the deer of Artemis and the swan of Apollo on one side, pixel-art sunglasses and a "HODL" banner on the other. The illustration did the branding work, classical references and internet in-jokes, sharing one bottle, which is exactly the contradiction the brand lives in.
